We celebrated the baptism of this sweet little guy.

Celebrated day 1 of Charlie's birthday week! Yes, we celebrate birthdays for a whole week around here.

Celebrated cooler weather by finally being able to sit out and enjoy our patio

Celebrated finishing a weekend-long project of sanding and repainting! 

I've ordered these brass handles and knobs,

and this fabric for my inspiration board.

Finally, we celebrated officially buying a sofa. It was our very last piece of furniture needed to complete our apartment!

So very happy it's the weekend. It feels like it's taken an especially long time to get here this week. Our plans include:

*West Elm's pop-up flower shop to load up on fresh flowers, and to buy this rug for our entry.

*Texas Food Truck Festival for lunch. Nothing can describe how giddy we get for food trucks!

*Trying to fix my indoor tree situation.

*Some al fresco dining at our fave local spot.

Happy Easter weekend! This is our first time to spend Easter away from our families, but we have a lot of fun things planned for this beautiful weekend.

Some of our plans include:
- Finally seeing the Hunger Games
- Lots of walks with the pup
- Brunch at our favorite vegan spot in Dallas
- Planting flowers
- Decorating eggs

- And if we're really productive... our taxes!
