on my radar: fall interiors

If you're anything like me (and every other person according to instagram/twitter updates and pinterest posts) the chill in the air has put you in the mood to light a pumpkin-scented candle and decorate for fall. My favorite thing to do to update my home for the chilly weather is to pull out the faux fur throws and trade out my bright sofa pillows for more neutral tones.

When I used to live at home, we even changed out our bedding for the fall and winter. I haven't done that in ages, but I'm thinking a nice plaid blanket might be in order for the foot of our bed. What do you do to get your home ready for fall? I'd love to hear!

on my radar: color and pattern combinations

Last week I talked about how I'm being drawn simple, neutral interiors for the fall.  Designer Miles Redd is completely opposite of the neutral trend, but I still can't get enough of his fearless color and pattern combinations.

I could stare at these rooms forever taking in all of the different elements and how they work so well together. I have a thing or two to learn from Mr. Redd!

on my rader: neutral interiors

We all know I love a good pop of color, but right now I'm being drawn to simple, neutral interiors. Here are some of my favorites:

As soon as I think I'm finished decorating my home I always seem to find a new style to love and want to start over completely with my decor. For the sake of my marriage, I won't be doing anything drastic :) I still love color, but I'm dying to design someone's home in this color scheme!
